Hurrah was created to celebrate the memories of 15 years spent living in the community of Elk, California. Ms. Curtis informed her town that she was leaving in 1999 and spent a year preparing for the move to the East Coast.
“There came a moment after doing the Landmark Forum when I became very clear how much I loved the people in this town. I dedicated this show to thanking folks for the incredible experience of spending 15 years in their midst.”
The show was held at the Greenwood Community Center.
