These sculptures are each unique and one-of-a-kind portraits of whimsical animals, zany airplane men and other flights of fancy. Curtis individually crafts the pieces from bright cotton velour and cotton prints. They are stuffed with polyester. The mobiles are designed to hang from an elastic cord over a sleeping child, to provide a centerpiece for a room or brighten your place at work.

Curtis has hand produced these “stuffed drawings” as she calls them, since 1973. They have been sold in galleries, children’s stores and museum gift shops throughout the US and Canada.
