TRUE COLORS is a Mural that stretches over 60 feet long and contains seven feet high figures that stacked a-top each other reach 15 feet high. The subject is the history of Lebanon, New Hampshire interpreted through the whimsical characters of Kay Curtis’ eclectic cast of characters.

It starts with the flag bearer and moves through dancers and skiers and recreational participants and musicians and families and cows and the Hippie era and farmers and fishermen and new settlers all the way back to the first settler sowing seeds to name a few. Butterflies and the Opera house and an airplane and a dog and rooster and of course, a snowman are included.

You may visit this work at 45 Hanover Street, Lebanon, New Hampshire. Open to the public year-round.

The grant proposal to fund this work was done by Nicholas M. Cain and his contribution to this massive project took three months.  Many hands contributed to the completion. There was a constant stream of visitors that passed by and reported on their excitement over the tunnel art. Hurrah to all!
